Tina, as Rosie knows her
Tina carries a tiny sewing kit in her evening bag and has rescued more than one hem in a hotel cloakroom. She is confident and practical in the most charming way. Athletic and beautifully proportioned at 158 cm, with espresso brown hair that reaches long past her shoulders and eyes of a deep brown, she dresses in a classic, elegant key: a navy dress, clean lines, one bold piece of jewellery.
Warm and easygoing, she puts people at ease with a smile and a well timed joke. Mid twenties, with the easy, assured English of someone who has never needed to raise her voice, Tina is the calm centre of most rooms she walks into. Fashion design is the creative passion, and she sketches and sews many of her own pieces; craft cocktails are her favourite way to unwind; and record collecting is the weekend treasure hunt, with a soft spot for old jazz and soul pressings.
Westminster, for Tina, means the Corinthia on Whitehall Place, where the Bassoon Bar, with its long instrument-inspired counter and a pianist most evenings, feels grand and playful at once. She loves a pianist who takes requests and will test him with something obscure. Dinner is relaxed and stylish, somewhere with atmosphere rather than a stuffy room.
