Raven haired: six dark heads, and the late listing each one would circle
Black hair does something particular under the low light of a hotel bar. It takes the gleam from the lamps and gives very little back, so the face beneath becomes the brightest thing in the room. Her listing is a night at the opera followed by a long walk home through streets she can date by their windows and cornices, a habit from years of wandering London for its architecture alone.
A late opening at the V&A, with Milena
Milena is the one with high shine: 175 cm, curvy, with glossy black hair and very little appetite for small talk. She throws pots on a ceramics wheel, plays tennis and takes her espresso strong, so her programme is an evening among the ceramics galleries at the V&A, a short walk from her South Kensington home, then straight on to a proper conversation.
Ringside, with Roxi
Roxi, 168 cm and curvy, has a laugh that tends to reach the table a moment before she does. She boxes to stay sharp, surfs whenever she can get to the coast and has a podcast to recommend for every mood. Her listing is a fight night from a good seat, then a late supper spent going back over the rounds. She lives in Pimlico, close to Victoria.
The late show, with Violetta
Violetta, the edit's tallest plate, is long limbed and slender, with sleek black hair falling the length of her back. She swims, lingers in bookshops and adores stand-up, so her programme is the late show at the Comedy Store off Leicester Square, where the poise gives way at the first good punchline. Home is Belgravia itself.
